Vicki MacLeod has joined Hampden Bank as an advisor to the board.

With a wealth of experience in the insurance and fintech sectors, MacLeod will support the private bank as it builds on its “strong foundations” following its annual reports, where profits jumped 91% in the first half of 2026.

MacLeod is currently part-time senior independent director at Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland (MDDUS), where she sits on the remuneration and nominations committee.

She provides strategic and regulatory support and challenge as a trusted interlocutor between board and management, and helps lead change on technology transformation and the product development, data and price-optimisation agenda.

She has also been non-executive chair at MDDUS Solutions since 2021. The company offers bespoke indemnity and insurance products for corporate medical and dental organisations.

MacLeod’s previous roles include advisory, strategic and executive positions with Virgin Money, Tesco and HSBC.

She wrote on LinkedIn: “I’m delighted to be part of another exciting growth and transformation journey, supporting the board and executive team as they build on strong foundations… I’m excited for what’s ahead.”
