Andrew Malcolm MBE, the CEO of the Malcolm Group, a logistics enterprise based in Linwood, has been presented with an honorary doctorate from the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). The accolade was presented during the University's winter graduation ceremony at Paisley Abbey on 15 November. M

Alison Mcgregor has been appointed as chair designate of the board of the Malcolm Group. Ms Gregor was previously chief executive of HSBC in Scotland.
