Scottish renewable energy company, Orbital, reached a significant operational funding milestone with financing from the Scottish National Investment Bank (SNIB).

Orkney-based engineering company Orbital Marine has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise £4 million to help kick start the next phase of its business. The firm intends to use the funds to enable the long-term commercial operation of a tidal stream turbine off the coast of Orkney.
