And finally… Apple Watch users like to check the time

Apple Watch owners are spending more of their time with the device checking the time than they expected, according to a new survey.

Research company Wristly polled 2000 Apple Watch owners and found 48 per cent used the device’s time-keeping function more than they expected.

Messaging and music were touted as the tiny touch-screen device’s flagship features - but the research suggests it’s actually most popular as a watch.

As many as 59 per cent of Apple Watch owners said they used the personal messaging functions less than they expected to and a bigger 60 per cent said they used the music and podcast functions less than they expected.

The device is available in 20 different models and retails from £479.00 in the UK.
