The organisation has said that in a time of ongoing uncertainty, the one thing that remains certain is that business development features top of the agenda for all businesses, so to kick start the new year, Kissing with Confidence is hosting the workshop.

The limited-edition Rainmaker Masterclass will take place on Friday 24th January at the Lighthouse in Mitchell Lane in Glasgow from 8.30am until 1pm. It will be delivered by CEO, Russell Wardrop. Delegates will learn how to love selling, create an instant rapport with prospects, and overcome objections.

Recent research by City & Guilds Group which surveyed 6,5000 employees and 1,300 employers, reported that employers in the UK are not investing enough in learning and development and are falling behind international competitors. India ranked top with more than 92% of employers expected to increase their L&D spend alongside other organisations located in emerging economies.

Russell Wardrop, CEO, Kissing with Confidence, said: “Every business needs to be as equipped as possible to drive sales especially now more than ever but to be honest we often put it one side because we’re too busy servicing customers or sometimes a bit scares of being rejected. But we need to get smart especially as it appears that the UK is lagging behind in training investment.

“As we all know it can be a rollercoaster and it was actually the aftermath of the 2007 banking crash that prompted us to focus on business development training and thankfully that change of direction led us to be celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2020.”

The workshop is priced at £195 and includes learning materials and 4, 8 and 12 week follow- up tutorials. To register visit the Eventbrite page.
