Aberdeen-based technology business Dynamic Edge has become a £5 million turnover firm and extended its geographical reach following the acquisition of an IT company in the south of England.

Dynamic Edge has acquired Hampshire-based information technology firm Tekkers IT Solutions. This is Dynamic Edge’s third IT acquisition following deals to purchase Inverness-based Alchemy Plus Business Solutions in 2015 and award-winning Surrey-based Waytime Technologies in 2017.

The deal was funded by Scottish Investment Bank, the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise, and Funding Circle. Dynamic Edge was advised by The Legal Director, a London-based law firm.



The majority of its clients are mid to large-sized companies, with many in the energy sector. The latest deal takes Dynamic Edge’s headcount to 55 across six offices – Aberdeen, Inverness, Stirling, Dundee, Guildford and now Fareham. The majority of its clients are mid to large-sized companies, with many in the energy sector.

Each successive acquisition has been important to Dynamic Edge with Inverness now operating as the focal point of the firm’s service helpdesk team, taking advantage of remote-working technology to support IT and communications solutions for clients across the UK.
