Thenue Housing appoints Lesley-Anne Junner as new head of finance

Lesley-Anne Junner has been appointed as the new head of finance (corporate & IT services) at Thenue Group.

Ms Junner will take up her new role in mid-September and follows the retirement of long-serving finance chief John Russell.

She will be responsible for overall treasury management, the development of strategy, policy, and performance in respect of finance, corporate and IT services and ensuring the overall financial wellbeing of Thenue and its subsidiaries.



Lesley-Anne Junner said: “I am delighted to be joining Thenue at a dynamic time for the Group. It’s an exciting opportunity to work with the Board of Management, the Executive Team and all my new Thenue colleagues along with support in the continued provision of excellent homes and services to our local communities.”

Charles Turner, Thenue’s chief executive, added: “We are delighted to welcome Lesley-Anne to Thenue, who will strengthen our Executive Team and oversee all things relating to our finances, corporate and IT services.

“She has extensive governance and strategic management experience, is an excellent communicator and someone with a business head and a social heart - so is therefore a perfect fit”.

Ms Junner, who has ICAS accountancy and LLB legal qualifications trained with globally renowned KPMG, and has gone on to become a highly-respected finance director within the housing association sector.

She held wider strategic responsibility during a period with the SFHA and more recently at Linstone Housing Association in Renfrewshire.

Ms Junner also has voluntary board experience with Boxing Scotland which exists to promote and develop the sport in Scotland.
