Aliter partner Greig Brown
Private equity investor Aliter Capital has completed the fundraising for a new £50m Annex Fund.
The new fund has been created to support the growth of two of its established technology platforms - Technology x People (TXP) and Serbus. TXP is a systems integrator focused on technology consultancy, development and resourcing.
Sebus delivers specialist secure Critical National Infrastructure networking and communications solutions. The private equity investor first supported the businesses in 2022 and then supported three further add-on acquisitions at each company and their rebranding as TXP in 2025 and Serbus in 2026
It will sit alongside Aliter’s existing £134m fund, Aliter Capital II, which was launched in 2022. The new £50m Annex Fund has been backed by existing institutional investors.
Aliter partner Greig Brown said: “In establishing the Annex Fund, we very much welcome the strong support shown by the existing Aliter Capital II investors participating in the Annex Fund.
“TXP and Serbus have great management teams, with a clarity of vision and exciting plans for future growth. We look forward to extending our close working relationship with them and the new funds will facilitate a wider range of strategic add-on acquisitions.”
Serbus provides secure communications infrastructure to the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure with a critical differentiator of “security DNA” built on the standards of the UK Special Forces, UK Government, Emergency Services and National Healthcare.
Serbus group chief executive Simon Fieldhouse, said: “As threats to the UK’s critical national infrastructure continue to evolve, Serbus is building a sovereign, market leading group with security in its DNA. Through targeted acquisitions and investment, we are strengthening our ability to connect and protect the nation’s most critical services and infrastructure.”
TXP chief executive John Antunes, said: “We’re delighted to have the continued backing of Aliter and its investors as we enter the next phase of TXP’s growth.
“It gives us further firepower to accelerate our buy-and-build ambitions, broaden our capabilities and continue building a differentiated technology business that delivers greater value for our clients.”
