A medal which was awarded to the co-writer of the UK’s 1967 Eurovision-winning song has been sold for £4,000 at auction.
The medal was awarded to Bill Martin, the co-writer of Puppet on a String and was sold at John Rolfe Auctions in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, on Saturday.
The song was performed by Sandie Shaw at the song contest in Vienna, BBC News reports.
