And finally... picass-so cool

A Picasso painting has been sold at auction for $139.4 million (around £113.7m).

The painting which featured his young mistress was sold last night at Sotheby’s in New York.

The 1932 portrait was of Picasso’s muse, Marie-Thérèse Walter, and it remained up for bidding for four minutes as three global collectors fought to buy it, the New York Times reports.

The painting was part of a larger lot of collections belonging to the estate of Emily Fisher Landau.
