And finally... Netflits

Netflix users have taken to ‘moving abroad’ after the entertainment platform implemented stricter rules around account sharing in the UK, curbing the use of a single subscription by multiple households.

From 23rd May, the streaming giant is charging extra for any additional viewers wanting to utilise a single account outside the designated household.

To navigate this crackdown, Netflix proposed a solution whereby subscribers can add an extra member for £4.99, allowing them to legally share the account with someone outside their living arrangement. However, certain resourceful subscribers found a more cost-effective alternative by making use of virtual private networks (VPNs) to change the ‘home’ location of their account.

Savvy users have shared their workarounds on Reddit with one user saying they had “moved” to Turkey to overcome the issue, Ladbible reports.
