Aon hires Hall as Scottish ambassador
Andy Hall.
Aon, the global professional services firm, has bolstered its commercial risk business in Scotland with the appointment of Andy Hall, the former Barclays head of corporate banking for central Scotland, to the role of ambassador.
With more than 30 years’ experience in senior banking roles, Mr Hall (pictured) will work closely with Aon’s leadership team in Scotland to help develop relationships with senior business leaders and facilitate conversations focused on enterprise risk, resilience, workforce issues and cyber.
“After nearly four decades in corporate banking, I wanted a role where I could continue to support Scottish businesses and help them succeed while stepping away from executive leadership,” he said.
“Throughout my career, I’ve always enjoyed bringing the right people together to solve complex challenges, and Aon’s approach really resonates with me. Today’s business leaders face an increasingly complicated landscape, from cyber and people risks, to supply chain disruption and geopolitical uncertainty.”
He will report to Gavin Carson, Aon’s regional managing director for Scotland.
