Accountancy firm Azets has promoted four audit specialists and two wealth management leaders to partner.
Three of the new audit Partners - Victoria Walker, David Samborek and Michael Walker - are based in Glasgow while colleague Jennifer Spence works from Edinburgh.
All four are chartered accountants and statutory auditors with the distinction of having trained with firms that became Azets on their progression to Partner, so bringing extensive experience and long-standing client relationships to their new roles.
In the wealth management team, both Graeme Dreghorn in Glasgow and Will Bleasdale in Edinburgh have likewise gained promotion to Partner.
Dreghorn has more than 20 years’ experience in financial planning and cashflow modelling while Bleasdale has spent more than a decade working at senior levels in strategic wealth management. Both are chartered financial planners.
Greig McKnight, regional managing director for Scotland at Azets, said: “These promotions are an important investment in the service we provide to clients.
“At the same time, Graeme and Will bring a complementary set of expertise in wealth management, an increasingly important part of the service we provide to business owners, entrepreneurs, individuals and families. Having senior specialists in both Glasgow and Edinburgh allows us to develop that capability across Scotland.
“Taken together, these six promotions demonstrate the depth of talent we have within Azets in Scotland. They reflect our commitment to career development for our people while ensuring our clients have access to experienced advisers who understand their businesses and can bring colleagues from across the firm around them when they need broader and integrated support.”
