Clyde Munro Dental Group has acquired its 80th practice, New Cross Dental Care in Hamilton, since initiating its expansion plans in 2015.

New Cross Dental Care has served the local community for over 40 years and provides dental care services for over 4,500 patients in the Hamilton and surrounding area. The acquisition allows the Clyde Munro to strengthen its presence in South Lanarkshire.

Jim Hall, founder and CEO of Clyde Munro, said: “The 80th acquisition of New Cross Dental Care in Hamilton marks a significant milestone for Clyde Munro and its expanding portfolio of clinics across Scotland.

“This is a strategic acquisition that strengthens our South Lanarkshire presence and adds to our cluster of practices that can utilise our specialist treatments and referrals
centre within the region.

“After a period of sustained growth and investment throughout the last eight years, I am thrilled to be announcing the 80th acquisition for the Clyde Munro group. It really is testament to the passion and ambition throughout our organisation, the zest to be the best in the industry and the determination to provide sector-leading care and service to the people of Scotland — from Orkney right down to the Borders.”

Currently, Clyde Munro serves over 600,000 patients, the majority of whom are registered NHS patients. The group has invested more than £2.5 million in digital dentistry, including dental scanners and digital learning and development tools.

Additionally, it has made a significant investment in a purpose-built skills academy in Perth to provide training and skill development for dentists. This commitment to digital technology and training aims to improve patient care experiences, offer more advanced procedures with improved accuracy, and shorten waiting times.
