Law firm CMS will host a free-to-attend event later this month focused on key issues affecting renewable energy projects across Scotland.
The Future of Renewables seminar will feature leading industry experts covering some of the major challenges and opportunities facing renewable energy developers.
The event, being held at CMS’s Edinburgh offices on 28 October, will include contributions from Gavin Catto of Green Cat Hydrogen, who will update on all the latest developments within the hydrogen industry; and Kyle Murchie, from independent specialist grid consultancy Roadnight Taylor, who will focus on UK grid reform.
CMS Partners, Kirsty Nurse, Paula Kidd and Frank Fowlie will also address the event where they will set out the latest legal updates impacting the sector, discuss alignment with offshore energies, and look at trends in energy-related M&A deals.
Ms Nurse said: “We’re delighted to welcome guests from across Scotland’s renewable energy sector to this informative and insightful event later this month. There are significant opportunities for the sector amid some key legal, administrative and legislative challenges that need to be carefully managed.
“My colleagues and I, along with our expert industry contributors from Green Cat Hydrogen and Roadnight Taylor, look forward to focusing on these core issues and providing some useful updates and guidance to attendees.”
The Future of Renewables seminar takes place on Tuesday, 28 October at CMS’s offices at Saltire Court, 20 Castle Terrace, Edinburgh. More details and registration information are available here.
