The merger brings together more than 5,400 buses deployed across Colombia and Chile. ZEmobility, jointly owned by DigitalBridge and Aberdeen Investments, operates approximately 2,800 vehicles across the two countries, while VGMobility operates around 2,600 vehicles in the same markets.

The combined platform comprises 16 contracts across Colombia and Chile, enabling it to provide public transportation services to authorities in Bogotá and Santiago. These services operate under long-term, government-backed and availability-based lease contracts, providing the business with contracted and predictable revenue.

The business will continue to operate under the ZEmobility brand while incorporating elements of VGMobility into its operations. The combination is intended to strengthen ZEmobility’s position in the Latin American public transport decarbonisation market and support further expansion across the region.

The transaction reflects DigitalBridge’s and Aberdeen Investments’ shared strategy for growth in the sustainable transportation sector. It is also expected to support the development of future projects in both existing and new Latin American markets while strengthening the financial structure of the business.
