The deal concludes a period of administration and uncertainty for the team, affectionately known as the Sons.

Mr Wright, a managing director at Quantuma, expressed his gratitude for the widespread support the club received. He said: “So many people have helped to get to this conclusion, but most importantly has been the support of the fans.

“We wish Mario and everyone involved with the Club every success for the season ahead and for the longer-term future of the Sons.”

Ian Wright and Craig Morrison, managing directors at business advisory firm Quantuma, were appointed joint administrators of The Dumbarton Football Club Limited (Dumbarton FC) on 18 November 2024.
