Gallanagh takes on Azets advisory role
Peter Gallanagh is taking on an advisory role.
Peter Gallanagh is to step down as Azets’ UK&I Chief Executive Officer at the end of the year to move into an advisory role.
Prior to taking on his UK remit, Glasgow-based Mr Gallanagh was the firm’s Managing Partner for Scotland.
David Aikman, currently UK&I Chief Financial Officer, will succeed him as UK&I Managing Director at the international accountancy and business advisory group.
Mr Gallanagh said: “It has been an honour and a privilege to lead the UK&I business and to work alongside so many talented and committed colleagues. I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together and the strong business we’ve built.
“I believe this is the right time for me to step back from the day-to-day leadership of the business. I look forward to supporting a smooth transition over the coming weeks and continuing to contribute to Azets in an advisory capacity.”
Chris Horne, Group Chief Executive Officer of Azets, said: “Peter has made an exceptional contribution to Azets and the development of our UK business. He has led with determination and commitment through a period of significant growth and change, helping to shape the business we are today.
“We fully respect Peter’s decision to step down and are delighted that he will remain involved in an advisory capacity.”
