The business has been named a finalist in the Best Single Office Tax Practice category at the 2020 Tolley’s Taxation Awards.

Simon Cowie, managing partner at Infinity Partnership, said: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted for this award. The positive news is welcomed during these unprecedented times. This is the first time we have been shortlisted in these awards, so it’s a great achievement by everyone at Infinity to reach this stage.”

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s awards event will take place online on Thursday, May 14.

Earlier this year, Mr Cowie won Accountancy Professional of the Year at the 2020 IRIS Customer Awards. That capped a remarkable double after Infinity Partnership associate director Greg Houston won the same award the previous time the event was held. The Infinity team also collected the 2020 IRIS Client Excellence Firm of the Year Award.

Those successes followed on from infinity winning at the British Accountancy Awards in London for the fifth year in a row in September 2019.

Infinity, which has a UK-wide client base, is recognised for its accountancy, research and development tax relief, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance expertise. More than 80% of its clients are involved in the energy sector.
