KPMG named liquidator as shareholders wind up JPMorgan fund

KPMG has been appointed as liquidators of JPMorgan Global Core Real Assets after shareholders approved plans to voluntarily wind up the fund at an extraordinary general meeting.

Shareholders approved all four resolutions with more than 99% support, with the special resolution to voluntarily wind up the company received more than 13,250,000 votes in favour, representng 99.71% of the votes cast against 38,710 votes. It was placed into voluntary liquidation with immediate effect.

As a result, Linda Johnson and Mark Russell Kelly of KPMG Advisory were appointed as Liquidators to oversee the winding up process. The liquidators plan to make an initial distribution to shareholders on or around September 17, 2026, expected to amount to around £21.6 million, equivalent to around 75.3 pence per share. 

A further and final distribution is currently expected in or around May 2028. The liquidators were authorised by shareholders to divide the company assets among shareholders and to transfer shareholder distributions of less than £10 to charity Lupus UK.
