Maryculter House on South Deeside Road will see all its 40 bedrooms and public areas transformed as part of this significant project which will be completed this year and kick-starts an exciting period of activity for the hotel.

Immersed in history and dating back to the order of Knights Templar in 1225AD, the hotel still boasts some beautiful original features which will be preserved as part of the refurbishment and enhanced with the modern luxury Scottish aesthetic planned for the public areas and bedrooms.

The new staff facilities form a key part of the project as the hotel’s commitment to investing in hospitality professionals is complemented with excellent facilities and training. During 2018/19 there was an increase in team members which included the appointment of Peter Walker, managing director and head chef Alan Clarke, as well as further recruitment planned for 2020.
