Port Glasgow-headquartered specialist paper and cardboard packaging manufacturer, McLaren Corrugate, part of the McLaren Packaging family, has appointed Jennifer Riddell as managing director.
A proven business leader with both domestic and international experience leading and developing manufacturing and operational businesses, Ms Riddell joins McLaren from her role as managing director at the multi-site operations of the Logson Group, under the brand names of The Boxshop and Boxes and Packaging in Scotland, where she was responsible for 160 staff.
Ms Riddell said: “I’m delighted to join the McLaren Corrugate team. The opportunity to work with the team to further develop the business was a real attraction, alongside McLaren Packaging’s established reputation in the market for innovation, service, and for being a responsible employer.”
McLaren Packaging managing director, Donald McLaren, said: “Jennifer’s appointment comes at a time when we are gearing up our corrugate division for further growth, with the objective of continuing to develop and expand our reputation as a supplier of sustainable and innovative packaging. We are delighted to welcome her to the business.”
Ms Riddell’s appointment follows a recent company restructure heralding the launch of two new brands, McLaren Presentation and McLaren Divisions, which join McLaren Corrugate to form three divisions under the umbrella organisation, McLaren Packaging.
