New mortgage broker opens in Angus

Angus-based wealth management firm Ferguson Oliver Limited has announced the launch of a new mortgage trading division.

To be know as Ferguson Oliver Mortgages, the Brechin firm, which was established in 1989 and remains a family owned and managed company, said its new venture will offer a “truly professional whole of market independent mortgage and protection planning service based on traditional values backed by modern technology and research tools”.

Managing director, and Chairman of local Brechin City Football Club, Mike Ferguson, said: “We believe the time is right to launch a professional independent mortgage & protection service to service the Tayside & Grampian regions. We want to adopt the professional and efficient standards maintained in our financial planning & wealth management services into a new face-to-face mortgage planning service. With more than 30 years’ financial planning experience behind us we are ideally placed to offer this new service and are excited about the prospect.”
