Phil Anderson Financial Services is continuing its expansion across the North-East of Scotland following a sustained increase in demand for pension, mortgage and financial planning advice.

The firm has recently strengthened its team with the appointment of Scott Morgan, who is based in Dundee, and Emily Jones, who has joined the business as a Trainee Mortgage Adviser based at the firm’s Ellon office.

As part of its continued development, the firm is also planning to open a new office in Aberdeen next month, providing a stronger presence in the city and increasing accessibility for clients throughout Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

The firm’s recent success has also been reflected in the achievements of its existing team. Mortgage Adviser Laura Stephen recorded the highest monthly mortgage business figures in the company’s history during May 2026, setting a new internal record.

The achievement is particularly notable as Ms Stephen is simultaneously studying towards her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Phil Anderson, managing director of Phil Anderson Financial Services, said: “The demand for professional financial advice continues to grow as more people seek guidance on their pensions, retirement options and mortgage arrangements.

“We have experienced a significant increase in enquiries over the past 12 months, making it essential that we continue to invest in both our people and our infrastructure.

“We are delighted to welcome Scott Morgan and Emily Jones to the team. Each appointment strengthens our ability to provide clients with the personal, high-quality service that we pride ourselves on.

“Laura’s achievement is a fantastic example of the dedication and professionalism within our team. To deliver a record-breaking month while also studying for professional qualifications is a tremendous accomplishment and one that deserves recognition. We are incredibly proud of what she has achieved and the service she continues to provide to our clients.”
