Kevin McArthur has joined the firm as a financial adviser based at the company’s head office in Ellon, while David Calderwood has joined as a financial adviser covering the Central Belt from Hamilton.

Mr McArthur joins the team with a long-standing foundation in financial planning, having passed his financial exams more than 20 years ago and advising clients since 2024.

Based in Ellon, Mr McArthur is dedicated to helping clients build, manage, and protect their wealth through clear, tailored advice.

He specialises in investment planning, retirement and pensions advice, as well as financial protection including life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection. Mr McArthur works closely with clients to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with their personal goals and future ambitions.

Mr Calderwood joins the firm in Hamilton, strengthening Phil Anderson Financial Services’ presence in the Central Belt. With experience in financial services since 2011 and advising clients since 2022, Mr Calderwood focuses on building strong relationships and simplifying financial planning for his clients.

He takes a holistic approach to wealth accumulation, retirement planning, and protection advice including life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection. Outside of work, Mr Calderwood enjoys spending time with family, following rugby and watching Formula 1.
