Professor Gammie is an Emeritus Professor at Robert Gordon University and a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS). She is a strategic and forward thinker, with extensive experience in change management, combining educational experience with financial and business acumen.

The part-time appointment will run for four years, from 3 October 2025 until 2 October 2029, and requires a time commitment of three days per month. The position attracts a remuneration of £366.65 per day.

Regulated by the Ethical Standards Commissioner, the appointment was made on merit. Prof Gammie holds no other public appointments and has had no political activity in the last five years.
