Raft of appointments within WTW Scotland’s retirement and pensions outsourcing teams
WTW Scotland has unveiled a series of senior appointments and promotions across its retirement and pensions outsourcing teams.
Joining the Edinburgh office within the retirement data and project manager specialism are Heather Wright, James Cassidy and Lindsay Cassidy.
Ms Wright arrives with more than 25 years’ pensions experience, having previously served as Global Pensions and Benefit Manager for a multi-billion-pound global technology firm with operations in Scotland. James and Lindsay Cassidy each bring over two decades of industry experience from their previous roles at Aptia. Lindsay Cassidy joined earlier in 2026, while Ms Wright and James Cassidy take up their posts on 5 May.
In Glasgow, Andrew Mills and Lynne Campbell have joined the Governance and Pensions Solutions (GPS) team from a major pensions consultancy, where both held senior advisory roles.
Mr Mills is recognised for his work delivering outsourced scheme management and trustee secretarial services for major defined benefit schemes, while Ms Campbell brings nearly three decades’ experience supporting trustees with governance and regulatory compliance. Both joined the firm in April 2026.
Suzanne Vaughan, head of WTW retirement in Scotland, said the appointments underscored the firm’s commitment to the region. “Our continued growth in Edinburgh and Glasgow underscores WTW’s commitment to the Scottish market, and these fantastic new colleagues significantly enhance our support for pension scheme trustees and sponsors across the region,” she said.
Alongside the hires, WTW has promoted three senior figures to senior director level.
Paul Whelan steps into a leadership role within the Glasgow Retirement team, charged with developing local business relationships as the city grows in strategic importance for the firm. Laura Martin has been appointed scheme actuary to a multi-billion-pound Scotland-based pension scheme, while Ross McIntosh takes on a new remit overseeing WTW’s AI capabilities and colleague development in Scotland, in addition to his existing position on the Edinburgh Retirement management team.
