Resonance Capital announces new director for Glasgow office

Lianne Clark

Glasgow-based asset management firm Resonance Capital has announced a new senior appointment to its new expanding City Centre office.

The company has appointed Lianne Clark as director to join Resonance Capital’s growing project team.

Ms Clark, who arrives from Knight Frank having previously worked at Capita and JLL, joins Resonance capital hot on the heels of Lisa Kirsop, who was appointed director of branding, marketing and events last year.

Resonance Capital is handling the comprehensive refurbishment of Atlantic Quay Buildings 1, 2 and 3, a joint venture with Moorfield, and is responsible for negotiating high profile office lettings to the Department For Work and Pensions on 85,000 sq.ft. at Atlantic Quay 1 and 80,000 sq.ft. to the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Services at Atlantic Quay 3.

Notably, the company advised Moorfield on the purchase of Skypark in 2010.

It is responsible for transforming the site from ‘a sleeping giant’ into a leading business destination as Scotland’s first ‘business hotel’ concept, with a fully trained concierge based at reception offering its tenants 5 star services, with beauty, prescription delivery and laundry services, all on-site.

Angela Higgins, joint founder of Resonance Capital with Ken Barrett, said: “We welcome Lianne to our expanding team on the back of strong growthand a pipeline of projects that we have secured. Lianne comes with 8 years’ experience and will play a major role in driving the direction of our projects forward.

“Our success is down to rolling up our sleeves and being totally hands on. We understand the need to apply creative thinking to our numerous joint venture projects whether working with family trusts or banks and institutions. We are uniquely placed with our dedicated branding, marketing and events expertise in-house. Our belief in great design is at the heart of everything we do.”

Resonance Capital is actively involved in the community with two charities, Clyde Cash for Kids and Finding Your Feet. They are silver ward patrons of both through their annual fund raising efforts. The company is a strong supporter of the City’s art scene and was instrumental in setting up Skypark’s rotating art gallery that supports the City’s artists and in donating space to Glasgow International and Glasgow Open House to host their events.
