David Auld and Eilidh Kennedy.

A former trainee with Glasgow-based chartered accountants and chartered tax advisers Robertson Craig has been appointed Partner in the firm.

Eilidh Kennedy steps up from the role of director, having first joined the company in 2006.

She qualified as a chartered tax adviser before moving on to gain further experience in the sector, rejoining the business in late 2022 as a senior manager.

Speaking about her latest promotion, she said: “I am delighted to have been promoted to Partner. Having worked with many of our owner-managed business clients over a number of years, it is incredibly rewarding to support them through the various stages of their growth and development.

“I also look forward to building relationships with new clients and helping them navigate the opportunities and challenges they face.”

Partner David Auld said: “Eilidh has played a key role in the continued growth and success of the firm, and particularly the development of our people. It’s great to admit a fellow Partner who originally joined the firm as a trainee.”

Robertson Craig, which was founded by Willie Robertson in 1986, celebrates its 40th anniversary later this year.
