Waverton Investment Management appoints Derek McLay as business development manager for Scotland and NI

London-based Waverton Investment Management has appointed Derek McLay as business development manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Mr McLay will report to head of intermediary sales, Mark Barrington and he will focus on promoting Waverton’s dedicated adviser offering – including its successful MPS investment solution – in the region. This service has now an impressive 10-year track record with top quartile performance1 with over £1bn AUM and is available on 21 platforms.

Mr McLay will be based in the Waverton Scottish offices, both in Edinburgh and Glasgow.



Mr McLay joins Waverton from Fundamental Asset Management where he had been a Scotland-based BDM. He has also worked in relationship development roles at Cornelian Asset Managers, Standard Life and BNY Mellon.
