Accountancy firm Wylie & Bisset has appointed Catherine McManus as its new head of tax.

Ms McMannus joined the Glasgow business in 2015 from a top 10 UK accountancy practice and brings considerable experience in tax and succession planning, business structures and client management, the company said.

She will head up a team supported by recent corporate tax recruit, Shehzad Ashaq.

Senior partner, Tom McGuire, said: “Catherine’s appointment is another positive step forward by Wylie & Bisset, as the firm continues to be focussed on providing excellent service and true value to our growing client base.”

Wylie & Bisset, with over 100 staff based at its Glasgow head office and a satellite branch in Argyll, provides support and advice to a growing list of over 4,000 clients across the private, public, charitable and not for profit sectors.
