Premier Inn opened a new 85-bedroom hotel in Thurso last week. This latest addition to the Whitbread network is the fourth new Premier Inn hotel to open in Scotland this calendar year and is the most northerly in the network.

Whitbread, the owner of the Premier Inn and hub by Premier Inn hotel brands, is gearing itself up for a successful summer of staycations in Scotland with four new hotels due to open in the coming months.

Premier Inn owner Whitbread has announced a £70 million investment in Scotland with plans to open five new hotels in 2020. The hotel operator said that the move will create an estimated 200 new jobs.
