Accountancy firm William Duncan + Co expands acquisition of IDS & Co

Scottish accountancy and business advisory firm William Duncan + Co has acquired Kilmarnock-based chartered accountancy firm IDS & Co, expanding its Ayrshire presence.

The 19-strong team lead by Iain Sim will join William Duncan + Co, which already has 75 staff across Ayr, Kilmarnock and Glasgow.
Mr Sim said: “The time is right to make this move as I admire the way William Duncan + Co operate and believe this is a great home for the team and our clients and personally I am looking forward to joining the William Duncan + Co board.”
Managing director Robert Fergusson added: “We are hugely excited that IDS & Co are joining us and are delighted that we have been able to attract this quality business.
