Barratt Redrow posts full year results hailing ‘resilient performance’

Barratt Redrow has posted its full year results for 2025, hailing a resilient performance and strong foundations for growth.
The housebuilder announced a total revenue of £5.58 billion, for the year ended 29 June 2025, compared to the £4.17bn posted the year before, marking a 33.8% increase.
Statutory profit before tax also rose by 60.5% to £273.7 million, a hike from the £170.5m posted in 2024. Adjusted profit before tax reached £488.3m, compared to £385m in 2024.
Adjusted profit before tax, excluding purchase price allocation related to the Redrow deal, was £591.6m, compared with £385m a year earlier and slightly ahead of consensus expectations of £582.8 million.
The firm completed 16,565 homes this year - an 18.3% increase from 14,004 in 2024. It also declared a dividend of 17.6p per share, up 8.6% from 16.2p.
David Thomas, chief executive of Barratt Redrow plc said that the firm had delivered a “solid performance in a tough market, with adjusted profits ahead of expectations despite home completions coming in slightly below our guided range.”
He said: “The acquisition of Redrow is transformative for the Group, and I am pleased with the progress we have made on delivering synergies ahead of our targets and executing a successful integration, which is now largely complete.”
“While the housing market remains challenging and we anticipate limited growth in FY26, the long-term fundamentals of the sector remain compelling.
“We have a unique offering, with three distinct leading brands with a strong land position and balance sheet and a clear strategy to deliver long-term, sustainable growth and 22,000 homes a year in the medium-term. In the meantime, it is vital that government policy is focused on reforming the planning system, removing barriers to investment and supporting purchasers, particularly first-time buyers, if the sector is to build the homes the country needs.”
He concluded by thanking the firm’s employees, subcontractors and supply chain partners, “for the huge contributions they made to our performance this year.”
