Caithness mortgage adviser achieves full qualification status

Louise Cormack

Louise Cormack, a member of the team at the Wick office of Phil Anderson Financial Services in Caithness, has successfully passed her final exam and is now a fully qualified mortgage adviser.

Ms Cormack’s accomplishment comes after passing the Chartered Insurance Institute CF6 mortgage advice exam, completing the rigorous Certificate in Mortgage Advice. This qualification meets the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) standards for mortgage advisers.

The level 3 Certificate in Mortgage Advice equips advisers with a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage sector and the intricacies of the mortgage process. This knowledge enables advisers to tailor their services to meet the unique needs of each client, providing them with the best possible guidance.

Ms Cormack expressed her gratitude to her colleagues at the Wick office for their support and collaborative spirit throughout her journey. She particularly highlighted financial adviser Kayleigh Ross for her exceptional mentorship and assistance.

Ms Cormack who has worked at the financial advisory firm since October 2022 previously worked as an administration assistant with MM Miller Building & Civil Engineering Contractors.

The successful completion of the certificate also allows Chartered Insurance Institute/Personal Finance Society members, who are also members of the CII’s Society of Mortgage Professionals, to use the designation Cert CII (MP). This recognition highlights the professional expertise and commitment to high standards that Ms Cormack brings to her role as a mortgage adviser.

Phil Anderson, founder and CEO of Phil Anderson Financial Services, said: “We are extremely proud of Louise and her dedication to obtaining this qualification.

“Her commitment to excellence reflects the values we uphold at Phil Anderson Financial Services, and we look forward to her continued success in assisting our clients with their mortgage needs.”
