CMS to stage Scottish Brand Forum event

Neeraj Thomas – Partner and head of CMS' Scotland IP disputes team

Law firm CMS is bringing together leading figures from PR, marketing, sport and law for its Scotland Brand Forum, examining the key legal, commercial and creative challenges facing brands operating in Scotland today.

The line-up includes Scarlett and Gregor Hollerin, founders of award-winning Glasgow-based PR and marketing agency Story Shop, who will discuss how Scottish brands can raise their profile at home and abroad.

In what promises to be an unforgettable summer of sport in Scotland, including the World Cup and 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, the Brand Forum will also feature an expert client panel sharing their insights into branding of large-scale sporting events.

They will be joined by CMS branding and IP experts including Neeraj Thomas, a partner and head of the Scotland IP disputes team, and Kimberley Cross, a senior associate in the technology, media and IP team.

Taking place Thursday, 19 March, the free-to-attend event will provide practical insights into key brand-related topics including influencer marketing, sponsorship, protection, consumer regulation and greenwashing.

Mr Thomas said: “We’re delighted to be staging our first-ever Scotland Brand Forum where we will welcome a diverse range of expert speakers covering a broad range of key brand-related issues.

“We’ve had an incredible response to the event so far. While registration is already approaching full capacity there are still a few spaces remaining for those wishing to attend.  The Forum, open to company founders, legal professionals, brand experts and marketing decision-makers, is designed to provide valuable insights into a wide spectrum of issues relevant to brands operating in Scotland today.”
