CT unveils new executive committee and investment in digital transformation amid major rebrand

Neil Norman

In a significant strategic overhaul, accountancy and advisory firm CT (formerly Chiene + Tait), has appointed a new executive committee and strategic leadership team, along with the upcoming launch of a new seven-figure digital transformation division.

The newly appointed executive committee encompasses partners Michelle Fallon, Paul Mason, Dave Shadwell, and Neil Norman. They serve as heads of private client, corporate finance, accounts & business advisory and entrepreneurial tax, respectively. Their key responsibilities will involve day-to-day management, overseeing the firm’s operations, and advancing CT’s growth and transformation agenda.

In conjunction with this, a strategic leadership group has been established, comprising all partners, directors, and new functional leadership roles. Among the new appointees are Mairi Maciver as people partner, Jeremy Chittleburgh as compliance partner, and former managing partner Carol Flockhart as finance partner.

Ms Maciver has also taken on the additional role of being in charge of the firm’s Inverness office.

CT is also set to unveil a new seven-figure investment digital transformation division in a fortnight, as part of its ongoing rebranding initiative. The rebrand was spearheaded by Mr Norman.

He said: “Our rebrand and refocus marks an exciting new chapter for our business, our people and our clients. It is part of the accelerating evolution of a firm with a long and proud heritage that has more than doubled in size organically in just the last decade.

“CT will continue to innovate its service offering to ensure that we best support our clients in our rapidly changing world.”

Mr Norman added: “The rebrand along with the creation of the new executive committee will help drive our firm forward. It will ensure that our people are given the best platform to support our clients, in Scotland, the UK and internationally.

“The four of us look forward to continuing to work with our teams and our clients in this exciting new chapter for CT.”
