Intellectual property law firm Marks & Clerk has announced the appointment of David Murray to the firm’s partnership.

Mr Murray joined the patent profession after completing a master of engineering degree in product design engineering at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow School of Art and has more than 15 years’ experience in advising clients across a wide range of mechanical engineering fields.

With particular expertise in the energy sector, he works with a range of clients from multi-nationals to SMEs and universities in capturing their IP as well as helping them grow and manage their IP portfolios.
