Henderson Loggie has secured significant new public sector wins in health and education, providing internal audit and consulting services.
The firm has been appointed to the NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) Framework Agreement for Audit Services for Health, to provide both internal audit services and audit and governance ancillary services.
This appointment follows Henderson Loggie’s top-ranked success on three of the four internal audit Lots on the Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC) Audit and Tax Services framework for Scottish institutions in 2024. Running from September 2025 to August 2029, the SBS framework provides NHS and social care bodies, as well as the wider UK public sector, with access to audit and governance expertise.
The announcement comes on the back of steady growth in Henderson Loggie’s NHS and social care client base over the past 12 months. Inclusion on the SBS framework is expected to accelerate that trajectory by opening up a far wider pipeline of opportunities in both internal audit and consulting.
In a further boost to its education credentials, Henderson Loggie has also been appointed as the sole provider of internal audit services for all six regional colleges in Northern Ireland. The three-year contract, together with optional extension years, is valued at around £750,000 (excluding VAT) and covers: Belfast Metropolitan College, North West Regional College, Northern Regional College, South Eastern Regional College, Southern Regional College and South West College.
David Archibald, partner & head of internal audit at Henderson Loggie, said: “These appointments are an important milestone for the firm.
“Taken together, these wins underline our ability to compete head-to-head with rivals in the UK internal audit market to secure high-value national contracts and build long-term partnerships across education and healthcare.
“The NHS SBS framework will give us access to a much wider platform of NHS/social care related opportunities across the UK, while the Northern Ireland regional colleges contract demonstrates the trust we have earned to act as sole provider across a large and diverse group of tertiary education institutions.”
