Lloyds has appointed Trusha Pillay as a new managing director in its Infrastructure and Project Finance team.
Ms Pillay will focus on expanding Lloyds’ debt advisory and debt structuring business while supporting the bank’s clients across core and emerging infrastructure and power-related sectors in the UK, the US and Europe. Ms Pillay will report to Tony Hable, managing director and head of infrastructure and project finance.
At both BNP Paribas and MUFG, Ms Pillay held senior roles in project and infrastructure finance, where she led the structured capital markets offerings. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the sector, including previous roles at The Royal Bank of Scotland and Clifford Chance LLP in London.
Tony Hable said: “Trusha brings a rare combination of structuring expertise, capital markets experience and international perspective. Her appointment further strengthens our leadership team and reflects our focus on continuing to build capability in areas where clients are looking for long‑term, trusted banking partners.”
Ms Pillay added: “Lloyds has built a strong infrastructure offering with a clear focus on long‑term client relationships. I’m looking forward to contributing to this energetic, driven business as it continues to grow and broaden its product offering and geographic reach.”
