Set to be based in the firm’s Glasgow office, Ms Rolland’s appointment marks a milestone in the expansion of the highly specialised business.

Ms Rolland is an accredited counter fraud specialist and was previously a forensic accountant at HMRC. Prior to that she specialised in forensics with BDO. She joins director Peter Graham, based in Edinburgh, to provide national coverage and drive the next phase of the planned growth of the service.

David Smith, MHA Henderson Loggie managing partner, said: “We are delighted to welcome Christine to the firm as we move forward with our exciting plans for the development of our forensics practice. She brings complementary skills, expertise and contacts to the team which will cement our position as the leading provider of forensic accounting services in Scotland. Christine will be an asset to the business and to MHA Henderson Loggie as a whole.”

Peter Graham said: “Christine is a very experienced forensic accountant who is extremely well thought of within the Scottish market. She has worked in private practice and also recently with HMRC. She has extensive experience of litigation support as an expert covering all valuation and other quantum issues. We are very excited to have her join us and we look forward to driving the practice forward over the whole of Scotland.”

Christine Rolland added: “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to further develop one of the country’s most experienced and highly regarded forensics practices by establishing a base in Glasgow. In particular, I’m delighted to join Peter who has a great reputation in the market for civil litigation and criminal proceedings. I look forward to working with Peter and the team and building upon MHA Henderson Loggie’s well-established reputation in forensics.”
