Nevis Capital introduces £25k introduction reward scheme for businesses

Glasgow-based investment business Nevis Capital has announced that it will reward businesses with £20,000 and a £5,000 holiday voucher if their business introduction leads to Nevis Capital acquiring a new business.

The Nevis Explorers scheme is intended to incentivise companies to introduce Nevis Capital to new businesses.
The new programme is outlined in the company’s annual review where it highlighted that it had not completed any new deals in 2019.
Nevis Capital wrote: “We’ve been fortunate that many of you have already linked us with opportunities in the past but we’d like to give you some further incentive to get your thinking caps on.”
The company added: “While we’re exploring our new business, you can be off exploring wherever you want! Proof that it really does pay to think of others!”
Nevis Capital is hoping to acquire some or all of private businesses with at least some of the following criteria:
- A consistent track record of between £500,000 and £1,500,000 of annual profit
- A high level of repeat customers
- Long-serving employees
- Some retainable management
