Strava Group acquires 14 Domino’s stores in Scotland with NatWest funding

Strava Group is set to increase its Domino’s Pizza franchise presence in Scotland with the acquisition of 14 additional stores across the country, thanks to a funding package from NatWest.
The acquisition brings the total number of Domino’s Pizza stores operated by Strava Group to over 40, spanning both England and Scotland. This strategic move is part of the company’s growth strategy to operate 75 Domino’s stores, strengthening its foothold in the competitive pizza delivery industry.
Rickey Sharma, managing director at Strava Group, started his journey as a franchisee in 2012 with Domino’s Pizza after progressing through the ranks since 2007. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the business have been instrumental in his success and ongoing expansion.
The acquisition is expected to enhance the operational efficiency and market reach of Strava Group positioning them well for future growth. As Strava continues to focus on expanding its Domino’s portfolio, they are committed to maintaining the high standards of service and quality that have become synonymous with the brand.
Mr Sharma said: “This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Strava Group. NatWest, and its expertise in investments and understanding of our industry, made this latest acquisition possible and we are excited for what this means for the expansion of the business moving forward.
“My journey with Domino’s Pizza began over a decade ago, and now through the acquisition of these stores I’m able to give other young people a start in their career.”
Andy Croasdell, relationship manager at NatWest, said: “Strava Group has demonstrated remarkable growth and a strong commitment to the Domino’s Pizza brand.
“Following our support for the acquisition of four stores in 2024, we are delighted to support these further expansion plans with this funding package. Rickey Sharma’s leadership and vision for the future align perfectly with our values, and we look forward to seeing their continued success in the franchise sector.”
