Aberdein Considine’s debt recovery and banking litigation team has been shortlisted for the Best Company to Work For (Service Provider) at the upcoming UK Credit Awards.
Three of the firm’s junior lawyers – Katie Macdonald, Chloe Imrie, and Sarah Clough – have also been nominated in the Rising Star category.
The recognition follows a successful 2025 for the Legal 500 Tier 1-ranked department, which achieved a record turnover exceeding £9 million and an approximate 40% increase in profits.
During this period of sustained growth, the firm handled over 10,000 new instructions and managed more than £1 billion in outstanding UK mortgage balances, bolstered by its successful reappointment to the recoveries panel of the UK’s largest mortgage lender.
Myra Scott, head of Aberdein Considine’s lender services practice group, said: “I’m so proud that our incredible team has reached the finals of the Credit Awards yet again following our success in last year’s Legal Team of the Year category.
“This achievement reflects the firm’s unwavering commitment to delivering the best possible service to our much-valued clients across the UK, as well as to fostering a supportive and inspiring corporate culture for our colleagues.
“It’s also extremely gratifying – but not at all surprising to me, given the depth of talent we’ve got in the team – that not one but three of our hard-working junior lawyers are up for the Rising Star award.
“Awards like these not only reinforce our reputation for excellence but help us champion best practice as both a service provider and an employer. We’re always striving to enhance our position as one of the country’s leading banking litigation and debt recovery firms, working with most of the UK’s major banks and financial institutions. Winning Best Company to Work For at the Credit Awards would be a very welcome endorsement of Aberdein Considine’s people-focused approach.”
The Credit Awards 2026 awards ceremony will be held at Celtic Manor on 24 June 2026.
