McConnell has opened an additional office space in Orion House, located in the Scottish Enterprise Technology Park

Following the success of recent principal contractor wins and to coincide with its relaunch, McConnell is making moves that were originally delayed due to Covid. Now coming to fruition in line with business plans, strategy and growth, the company recently opened an additional office in Scottish Enterprise Technology Park in East Kilbride.

Further supporting McConnell’s head office in Kilmarnock, the East Kilbride office will provide a base for up to 30 additional staff, futureproofing plans for further growth and making the company more accessible to support its clients. The new base will house McConnell’s refurbishment and cladding divisions along with support functions, including business development and bid support, estimating, SHEQ and customer care.

McConnell has also expanded its presence in the Southern region, with the recent opening of a new Dartford office in addition to its existing office in Camberley, Surrey.

Eamonn McGarvey, managing director of McConnell, said: “The additional office in East Kilbride is great. It is an important addition to our portfolio for our growing Refurbishment & Cladding Divisions that has gained real momentum in terms of Principal Contracting, enabling us to build on and plan for the future.

“With such strong historical links in Ayrshire, the company will retain our Kilmarnock Head Office and base. Having this additional office close to the Central Belt will be significant to the future plans of the business and in supporting our ever-growing client base within a number of market sectors.”
