Wealth manager RBC Brewin Dolphin has expanded its Edinburgh office with the appointment of two new wealth managers, bringing its financial planning department to 30 people.

Rhiannon Murray has joined as a wealth manager providing financial planning advice to individuals, families and trusts. Since then, Ms Murray has built extensive experience across a range of client focused roles, including leading client support and complaint resolutions teams. She works closely with clients to plan for retirement, address any protection gaps and devise effective ways to preserve and pass on wealth.

Also joining the Edinburgh office, as a wealth manager, is James Stewart-Lockhart. He provides financial planning advice to business owners, private investors and families, with a focus on trust structures and pensions. Mr Stewart-Lockhart began working as a financial planner in 2021 prior to which he was a chartered surveyor in London and Edinburgh, assisting high net worth individuals and small property companies on the disposal and acquisition of development opportunities, as well as the construction of property portfolios.

Johnny McGlynn, head of RBC Brewin Dolphin’s Edinburgh office, said: “Rhiannon and James’s strong wealth management experience and dedication to excellent client service will enable us to reach more people in Scotland with targeted wealth planning solutions to help them plan for their future.”
