Based in Loanhead, Midlothian, the company provides a range of specialist training courses and risk assessment services and supplies state-of-the-art equipment to businesses across the UK and Europe.

The funding from Royal Bank of Scotland will be used to purchase eco-friendly fire extinguishers which are completely recyclable and do not require annual servicing or a maintenance contract, which is expected to save businesses approximately 50% of their current maintenance spend.

Founded in 2011 by ex-firefighter Keith Harrhy, the funding will also be used to introduce health and wellbeing initiatives for its workforce, which is expected to grow by a headcount of three over the next twelve months as business demand increases.

Keith Harrhy said: “I wanted to develop a business that was at the forefront of reducing the risk of fire through knowledge, intelligent management systems and quality equipment, and it has been growing steadily over the past eight years.

“We now have a strong client portfolio which includes great companies such as Chris Stewart Group and SanDisk Scotland Ltd, a Western Digital Company, and the Royal Bank of Scotland funding will now allow us to roll-out the new equipment and enhance staff initiatives.

“We’re also working towards introducing back-to-work training programmes for military personnel returning to civilian life, and individuals looking to secure employment after paternal leave and long-term unemployment, which will be extremely rewarding to offer as an employer.”
