Fraser Wilson has been appointed as PwC’s new market leader for Scotland.

Two new Edinburgh-based partners have also been announced by the company.

Lauren Atkins, who has been with the firm for 13 years, leads audits across the asset and wealth management sector, while Jamie Drysdale leads the operations transformation practice in the insurance sector, bringing more than 25 years of advisory experience to clients.

The appointments form part of a wider promotion round, with 133 colleagues advancing across PwC’s Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow offices, including two new managing directors and 13 directors.

Ross Foley, promoted to managing director within PwC’s cyber security practice, leads the cyber team in Scotland, as well as cyber defence and cyber managed services solutions, nationally.

Iain McDonald is a managing director based in Glasgow and leads PwC’s UK finance and treasury tax team.

“There’s a huge amount of opportunity across Scotland right now,” said Mr Wilson. “Whether it’s supporting the transformation of our financial services sector, helping businesses harness technology and AI, or playing a role in the energy transition, our clients are navigating significant change.

“That creates real potential for growth and impact, supporting Scotland’s economic growth ambitions, and our newly-promoted colleagues will be at the heart of that – bringing fresh perspectives, deep expertise and the energy needed to help our clients seize those opportunities and build for the future.”
